Course Overview
This half-day course focuses on the skills, knowledge, and safety behaviors needed for aerial lift rescue (bucket trucks). This course will certify or recertify trainees in aerial lift rescue in compliance with the Federal OSHA 1910.269 requirements for training. In addition to classroom discussion, the trainees are required to perform simulated rescues to achieve competency.

The course’s primary focus is on transformers’ connections and banking; however, additional emphasis is placed on hazard awareness and trouble scenarios. All training is conducted on our transformer training lab, the TransBanker®.

The objective of this two-day course is to learn and apply the necessary skills needed to establish a safe equal potential grounding and bonding work safety zone. A combination of classroom lecture and field performance outcomes are used to develop and measure trainee knowledge and skill regarding overhead, transmission, and underground grounding operations using the new EPZGrounder™ Lab.

WORKING IN ELEVATED POSITIONS
WORKING IN ELEVATED POSITIONS

Course Overview
This five-day course is designed to teach working in elevated positions as it applies to power workers. Climbing and working from wood poles is the primary focus of the course, with some exposure to other types of structures such as tubular and lattice steel. Trainees will learn the requirements for using positioning device systems (body belts and climbers) as well as personal fall arrest systems (harness/lanyards). Structure rescue is also taught in this course.
