Program Overview
The Safety Excellence Program (SafetyEx®) is a 10-day program offered to safety professionals in a variety of trades. This program is designed to enhance the knowledge, skills, and behavior of safety professionals in power delivery so they can identify potential hazards on the job site and initiate special precautions to help their coworkers go home safely each and every day. Participants in this program will gain knowledge of the electrical system through hands-on participation with the same tools and equipment lineworkers use every day to construct, maintain, and operate power delivery systems.
Safety Practicum
The final project of the course provides a unique opportunity for participants to exercise their new power delivery safety skills in a real world environment. During the Practicum, students will evaluate a mock job site to practice what they have learned. This is what makes our students some of the most effective and respected EPSE Certified professionals in the industry.
